Protection system design ship and offshore vessels — An overview

Abstract

Offshore vessels and ships are islanded power systems. Maintaining the operation during the adverse system operating conditions is a challenge. This paper reviews the concepts to improve the protection and operation using the advanced system protection and new developments of the simulating process.
