Abstract

This paper uses stochastic frontier model to measure the technology innovation efficiency and influencing factors of high-tech industry in 28 regions in mainland China from 2010 to 2016. The results show that the technology innovation efficiency of Chinese high-tech industry is low, showing a state of fluctuation, and the efficiency of the invention patents authorization as output is higher than that of new product sales as output.
