This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The data was obtained from the Dikpora Bantul and analyzed with the least squares trend. The results of this study are: 1. At elementary level (SD/MI) in Bantul Regency, there is an increasing tren and has not reached 0%. At junior high level (SMP/MTs), there is a decreasing tren and has been reached 0%. 2. The results of tren analysis are influenced by internal and external factors that cause children to drop out of school; 3. Policy in the Elementary School sector, namely to activate compulsory education programs, social assistance, and inclusive schools. Follow-up in the SD sector by increasing public awareness, collaboration with various cross-agency. The SMP sector carries out a policy of completing the 9-year compulsory education program, simultaneous assistance, and tracing to the village level. Follow-up in the field of SMP by increasing Minimum Service Standards, maximizing support capacity, and discussing with Commission D.
