Abstract

ABSTRACT The current fuel system icing inhibitor additives used in both the military and commercial airlines are ethylene glycol monomethyl ether (EGME) and diethylene glycol monomethyl ether (DiEGME)These deicing compounds are toxic at the concentrations that are required for effective deicing.
