Abstract

The saprophytic colonization of wheat and barley by Pyrenophora tritici-repentis was examined in the field. The wheat cultivars, Sunstar (susceptible) and Suneca (moderately resistant) and the barley cultivar O'Conner (highly resistant) were exposed to natural inoculum.
