Abstract

ABSTRACT This exploratory study aimed at investigating the perceptions of the youth regarding the summer food environment using photovoice methodology. A 4-week summer food education program. Eleven youth, 13–18 years were recruited, and 5 (45%) students completed the study. Participants received one of each: introduction to photovoice, disposable camera, logbook, handout of photography tips, and photo release forms followed by participation in a focus group.
