Abstract

Mixtures of grass (Chloris gayana) and legume (Trifolium prantese) at seed rates of 50 : 50% produced significantly (p < 0.05) more forage dry matter and were biologically and economically more competitive and viable than 25 : 75%, 75 : 25% or the sole stand.
