Abstract

In this paper, we present a simplified particle system and fast translation algorithm to generate real-time animation of a music fountain (MF). This paper briefly describes our algorithms used to simplify the particle system and the process to build the physical model of the music fountain. Then the approach used to translate the controlling information into the fountain animation is introduced. Finally, the simulation results and conclusion are given.
