As a result of the study, a new polymer was synthesized and its composition and structure were determined on the basis of IR and NMR spectroscopy data. Abstract
The esterification reaction of polyvinyl alcohol with para-aminophenylcyclopropane carboxylic acyl chloride has been studied in order to obtain a diversified polymer containing fragments of polyvinyl alcohol and groups, amino and cyclopropane rings, as well as other fragments in the side links of the macromolecule.
