ANALISIS PIJAT BAYI DAN PENAMBAHAN BERAT BADAN BAYI DI KLINIK A PASAR REBO

Abstract

Background: Massage is a stimulus that stimulates the growth of infant development. This will affect breastfeeding for weight gain because breast milk is the most perfect food and drink for babies during the first month of life and the most important baby food. Objective : To analyze infant massage and breastfeeding on infant weight gain at Anny Rahardjo Main Clinic, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. Methods : This study was a quantitative study with a cross sectional design using a retrospective approach. The sampling technique used was the Systematic Random Sampling technique of 101 people. Data were analyzed using Chi Square statistical test. Results : Statistical test showed that there was a relationship between infant massage and infant weight gain with p = 0.001 and OR = 11.0 (95% CI: 2.9– 41.5). Conclusion : There is a relationship between baby massage with the baby's weight gain
