Abstract

A Postbeamformer Interference Canceler (PIC) processor is a two stage system where the weighted sum of beams formed at the first stage is used to produce the system output. This paper presents a method to study the robustness capability of the PIC processor using orthogonal interference beam (OIB) against location errors for near field broadband sources. The robustness of the proposed processor is also compared with that using optimal element space processor (ESP).
