Abstract
This case study of Quebec psychiatry in transition explores the arena of psychopolitics at the interface between the psychiatric system and the political system. It is concerned with the forces and actual processes involved in the transformation of the system for the management and delivery of this province's psychiatric services from one structural, technological and conceptual configuration to another. The analysis suggests that there are thresholds of change, critical levels of energy which must be reached to precipitate a change of state. Along with Donald A. Schon in Beyond the Stable State (1971) change is presented as a kind of war in which opposing groups seek or defend policy-making positions with the use of various sources of power.
in This case study of小岛psychiatry过渡explores the arena of psychopolitics at the interface between the精神病学system and the political system。 与Donald a .
