Topical issues of pharmacotherapy of the elderly

Abstract

Health problems are very common for older people. About 70–80 % of the elderly suffer from one or more chronic diseases resulting in a very large percentage of drug consumption by this group of patients. The purpose of the study: to investigate the features of pharmacotherapy of the elderly according to the data of world literature.
