The method of finding the root of the problem is using the Ishikawa diagram (Cause-Effect Diagram) Based on the results of the analysis of the data obtained, the damage on the previous wire rope was corrosion on the outside, crushing and waviness. Wavy wire rope occurs due to the wire rope overlapping on the hoist drum and shaft. In this Hoist Stahl component, there has been damaged equipment, namely the Wire Rope Guide. The absence of wire rope guide equipment is one of the biggest factors causing damage to steel ropes. . Abstract

Routine use of the Electric hoist requires care and maintenance so that the machine is always ready for use so it does not interfere with production activities.
