Abstract

The main purpose of the article is the attempt of description of the informal names of shops in oral Polish of contemporary village inhabitants (on the example of Wręczyca Wielka community near Klobuck). The first part of the text is devoted to the basic methodological solutions and previous researches. The second part of this article contains the characteristic of the onimic material – e.g. description of semantic motivations and data concerning specific of mentioned group of names.
