Abstract

A patient with chronic granulocytic leukemia (CGL) was treated with plateletpheresis. Platelet function was restored to normal but the patient did not experience symptomatic improvement. Possible mechanisms for the improvement of platelet function in association with plateletpheresis in CGL are suggested.
