First, we should confine the concept of “sex.” it is largely distinguished by the meaning of “gender.” Sex is a biological distinction of genital and genetic differences while gender is primarily mentioned as the focus on a social role.2 The authors described the sex differences in traditional risk factors for cardiovascular disease and some characteristics in stable obstructive coronary disease in women with chest pain.
