Abstract

: Exploration of secondary metabolites was the focus of this research, especially of Artocarpus calophylla species to look for a potential cytotoxic agent. An arylbenzofuran derivative compound, namely heterophyllene A was isolated from the stem bark of Artocarpus calophylla .
