Die World Health Organization hat das Jahr 2020 zum «Year of the Nurse and the Midwife» erklart. Ein besseres Jahr hatte sie sich kaum aussuchen konnen. Nie zuvor war der Ruf nach mehr Anerkennung fur Gesundheitsfachpersonen lauter. Aber: Es braucht mehr als Applaus.
