Le role de l'AMP cyclique dans l'hypersensibilité immédiate

Abstract

Après un appel de la théorie du « second messagerde Sutherland, sont revus les travaux expérimentaux qui ont étudié le taux de 3′5′ AMP cyclique, tant en rapport avec la production d'anticorps ou la transformation blastique qu'avec la dégranulation des mastocytes ou des basophiles. Dans ce dernier cas, les drogues qui élèvent les taux cellulaires d'AMP cyclique déterminent une diminution de la libération d'histamine ou de SRS-A en présence d'antigène. Ces résultats viennent à l'appui de la théorie bêta-adrénergique de l'atopie proposée par Szentivanyi. Ils permettent une meilleure compréhension de l'action de médicaments tels qu'isoprotérénol, théophylline ou corticoïdes.

After recalling Sutherland's « second messengertheory, the authors review the experimental research which has been carried out on cyclic 3′5′ AMP, both in relation to the production of antibodies or blastic transformation and degranulation of mastocytes or basophils. In the latter case, drugs which raise the cellular levels of cyclic AMP cause a decrease in the liberation of histamine or of SRS-A in the presence of the antigen. These results support the beta-adrenergic theory of atopy put forward by Szentivanyi. They make for a better understanding of the action of drugs such as isoproterenol theophylline or the corticoids.
