The Price of Anton Franki’s Book

Abstract

This work consists of a critique publication of the colophon text in verse form, which was written in 18th century cursive Glagolitic script at the end of a book (kvadirnica) of Invocations, compiled by the priest Anton Franki from Omišalj, along with the remaining paratexts from the same book. Special consideration is paid to the discourse characteristics, as determined by the author’s claim to the right of remuneration for his scribal work.
