Abstract
Indonesian government has ordered school to be held remotely through online classes in order to prevent further spread of the coronavirus. Remote learning, despite having many advantages, is also influencing students performance, such as academic procrastination. This research tried to investigate how CBT based group online training could reduce the academic procrastination among male Junior High School students. There were 4 participants (12–14 years old) in this study. Participants were recruited using accidental sampling then screened by thei IPS score, only those with high IPS score were allowed to join the training. The training ran for seven sessions, the duration of each session was 50– 70 minutes. This study was quantitative quasi experiment, the data of this study were collected during pretest, post-test, and follow up (one month after the training was ended). The data then being analized using Friedman’s Test. The result indicated that the online group CBT-based training was able to significantly reduce academic procrastination among male Junior High School students during the pandemic.
