Communicating the message.

Abstract

This “Communicating the Message” module provides ten strategies to assist prevention practitioners and advocates as they design and disseminate prevention messages. Specific information is provided to highlight the different strategies needed when targeting audiences such as community members, the media, policy makers, and funders. Emphasis has been placed on identifying gender-sensitive ways to both communicate information and to target specific audiences.
