Vocational education and training have an important role in the development of the whole person and the development of Indonesian society as a whole. Human development must be carried out as a whole, which includes the development of thinking power, heart power, physical strength, mastery of science, and technology. Today's industry requires a workforce that has technical skills and employability skills. The preparation of vocational students to have technical skills and employability skills stems from the implementation of a scientific approach which is one indicator of the quality of learning.
