Abstract
Aricryl polymerization is made in three stages according to the addition polymerization scheme, namely initiation, termination and propagation. The processed aricryl polymerization was batch G-0903, G-0915A and G-0915B. The difference in each batch is the use of solvents for dilution. Dilution for resin batch G-0905 was carried out in >63% n-butanol and toluene. Dilution for resin carried out in >63% toluene. Based on data on the application of wood coatings, the best results were in batch G-0905 with a hardness value of 97, a glass value of 97 and a drying time of 0.05. The resin obtained has a total solid specification of 59.66%, a viscosity of Z2-Z3, an acid number of 0.45 mg KOH/g, a colorless than I and the resulting resin is clear and clean.
