Abstract

In this paper, a printed inverted-F antenna for circular polarization is proposed. A rectangular element is loaded at the feeding element perpendicularly. The circular polarized wave is radiated in the frequency range between the first resonant frequency and the second resonant frequency produced by the rectangular element. The relationships between the geometrical parameters of the loaded rectangular element and the antenna characteristics (return loss and axial ratio) are investigated.
