A Patient with Gastric Metastasis of Lobular Breast Cancer with CDH1 Mutation: A Case Report

Abstract

Gastric metastasis of breast cancer is extremely rare, diagnosed as breast cancer metastases to the stomach should distinguish between primary and metastatic tumors because of their differences in prognosis and management. Mutations in the CDH1 gene may increase the risk of this pathogenesis since E-cadherin plays a cru-cial role in both lobular breast cancer and gastric cancer.
