Mission to contribute to the development of the Republic of Moldova. Chronicle of events organized by the ASM, April 2019 – March 2023

Abstract

The present article aims to produce a documentary chronicle of scientific and cultural-scientific events that took place within the Academy of Sciences of Moldova (ASM) between years 2019 – early 2023. Such activities as public lectures, academic readings, scientific events held on research platforms, debates initiated by the ASM in 2019, the activity of the specialized academic commissions set up by the ASM in January–March 2023 were examined. Through these multidisciplinary events, the ASM honors its statutory duties to contribute to the sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova, the affirmation of science and culture, the promotion of science and its image at national and international level, as well as to enhance the process of integration into the European Research Area.
