Abstract

Darwiniana, nueva serie 1(2): 192-200. The anatomical analysis of charred woody remains confirmed the use of Chusquea culeou at Meliqui- na Lake archaeological site, Argentinean Patagonia. We present the anatomical analysis of both charred archaeological and present reference materials, and we highlight the use of this species to make structu- res that separated different areas for subsistence activities during the occupation of the site.
