Abstract

Images captured by terahertz time-domain imaging systems are information rich because of the wide imaging bandwidth. However, the speed of the state-of-the-art terahertz time-domain imaging systems is still limited by their single-pixel imaging modality. Here, we present terahertz time-domain imaging via a terahertz focal-plane array, which eliminated the need for mechanical raster scanning. We demonstrate resolving 63-pixel terahertz images up to 2.9 THz.
