Abstract

A compact patch antenna is proposed in this paper which will work on 5G mm wave spectrum ranging from 40–48 GHz. The patch is having hybrid geometry, which is constructed using two rectangular patches and two triangular patches, and placed on top of FR4 epoxy having relative dielectric constant of 4.4. The designed antenna can be used in wireless communication as a receiver or a transmitter for high speed data transfer or communication.
