Abstract

Commercial success of solar cells clearly demonstrates that an environmental-friendly future is achievable. The next generation of solar cells will depend on novel materials, including 2D materials and metal-organic frameworks (MOF). We will present THz-TDS measurements of MOFs and TRTS measurements of 2D materials, showcasing THz spectroscopy as an outstanding technique to characterize emerging materials and providing insight into their photophysics and, in turn, their potential for future solar applications.
