A total of 100 employees were randomly selected as sample in HOV software company, Chennai. To analyse the data, SPSS software package used the statistical tools such as descriptive analysis, Chi-square test, U-test, H-test and correlation also were used. The result of the study is male and postgraduate employees have low perception on training practice to improve their performance and the trainer's knowledge and qualification, method of training also are more positively correlated with respect to employees’ performance. Abstract

Organisational performance depends upon individual performance. Training is one of the most important tools to develop employee's performance in the organisation.
