Abstract
Post-burn deformities of the hand are most of the time located on the dorsal side, leading to cosmetic of functional dilemma. Treatment of functional disabilities is the more challenging, involving surgery and intensive physiotherapy. The goal of the surgical treatment is to provide a sufficient amount of skin to fill the defect. Initial injury of bony or tendinous structures is very rare, and surgery is rarely required. In any case, the reconstructive surgery consists in grafting full thickness skin grafts, local flaps and plastics followed by specific rehabilitation.
