Mortinatalité en élevage canin liée à des maladies infectieuses : brucelloses, herpès virose, mycoplasmoses

Abstract

Among the various causes of mortality in newborns puppies, specific affections of the canine communities deserve a particular development: brucellosis, herpes virus disease, mycoplasmosis. Their rapid enzootic evolution which can even be epizootic in a breeding environment causes considerable loss. The veterinary practitioner has to seek them systematically when the clinical presentation is evocative. The present paper reviews the symptoms, pathogenesis, complementary investigations, and decision making when dealing with such affections.
