With post-reminder performance of a visuospatial task, a quantitative impairment in test recall performance was observed within a visual list-learning paradigm, but not in a foreign vocabulary learning paradigm. These results support the existence of reminder-induced memory processes that can lead to the alteration of subsequent memory performance by interfering tasks.
