El asentamiento tardoantiguo de Voluce

Abstract

We study the late antiquity remains (s. V-VIII) of the site known as The Castejones, which is located in front of Calatanazor. The site was occupied form the fourth century to mid-fifth century. The identification of the site with the antique Voluce, or its correspondent mansion, has been controversial since ancient times. The correct recognition of the Roman road has allowed associate the name of the place with Los Castejones.
