The enzyme activity such as peroxidase (POX) in vegetative and reproductive stages ranged from 25.26 to 32.27 and 20.56 to 26.20 U/min/g/fresh wt, respectively. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) enzyme activity in vegetative and reproductive stages ranged from 13.51 to 26.13 and 21.21 to 30.13 Unit g/f.wt, respectively.
