Refined hospital management improves hospital safety and management-Using Cataract Department of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, Sun Yat-sen University's refined management in day-care unit as an example

Abstract

As a modern management concept,refined management has been widely applied to enterprise management,with significant positive results received.This article illustrates the definition and significance of refined management,introduces the practice of refined hospital management in Cataract Department of Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center,Sun Yat-sen University,which leads to shorten hospital stay,simplified registration procedure,lower hospital costs,higher hospital turn-over rate,safe-guard the quality and safety of clinical service,improves hospital' s competiveness,pushes forward hospital reform and development.Refined management,which includes educating and training employees,implementing procedure-oriented management,enhancing data analysis and information system,should be widely applied to each procedure and segment of hospital management to improve overall safety and quality of clinical service.
