Abstract

: Microwave ovens produce 2450 MHz electromagnetic radiation. ese appliances are shielded to prevent radiation leaks, although a small part goes outside. With a Schottky diode, a multimeter and a metal screen, the wave nature of this radiation can be experimentally verified and its wavelength measured.
