Abstract
This study aims to determine the mathematical aspects of the pottery turning tool (perbot) and the process of making wuwungan using a printing press. In this study, researchers used qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The researcher's instrument is himself, and data collection uses interviews, observation, documentation, literature studies, and artifacts. The data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation, data analysis, and data exposure. This study describes the tools for making pottery, namely rotary tools (perbot) and printing equipment. From the geometric shape perspective, furniture has a circular shape, and pottery artisans apply the concept of a center point and the application of rotation of objects. In addition to using a rotary tool, there is also a printing tool to make wuwungan pottery, making wuwungan utilizing the concept of symmetry and reflection. The concepts contained in the pottery-making tools are mathematical concepts that The teacher can use to introduce mathematics learning through local culture.
