The methodology used was an exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, with the outline of the case study and three sources for data collection: interview, direct observation and questionnaire. The research locus was a social school that has a multidisciplinary team, including the librarian and that assists children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability. Among the results, it was possible to identify the practice of multiplying competence in information, in the form of projects and activities developed by the librarian in partnership with other employees of the institution.
