Abstract

Jean-Luc Lagarce (1957-1995) currently represents one of the key figures of contemporary French playwriting. This article aims to study the reception of this dramatist in Spain: his presence in the world of Spanish theatre; the staging of his plays; his reception by the public, the press and other professionals in the field; as well as the translation of his plays into the different languages ​​of the State.
