A vida das palavras e suas ações de linguagem: Narrativas de mães de crianças surdas

Abstract

Considerando a importância da figura materna na constituicao da crianca surda, esta pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar o discurso de maes de criancas surdas em sua comunicacao cotidiana com seu filho, observando suas narrativas sob o olhar da palavra viva como acao de linguagem. Ancorado na perspectiva bakhtiniana e fundamentado na pesquisa qualitativa de cunho sociohistorico, este estudo privilegiou uma leitura dialogica do espaco interlocutivo. Assim, os dados coletados nas falas de duas maes de criancas surdas (que optaram pelo implante coclear), durante uma entrevista semi-estruturada, perfaz o material de estudo sobre a atividade enunciativo-discursiva envolvida no ato da fala. Nesse sentido, a fala das maes durante a entrevista demonstrou uma linguagem ativamente responsiva e dialogica, que ultrapassa os codigos prontos e os papeis estaticos da linguistica formal. Diante disso, percebe-se que a linguagem nao e somente uma comunicacao falante-ouvinte em seus papeis estaticos, mas uma unidade recheada de conteudo valorativo sociohistoricamente contextualizado. Contudo, diferentemente das falas das maes durante as entrevistas, a visao de linguagem que prevalece em sua comunicacao com os filhos, parece apontar preferencialmente a uma visao que privilegia a palavra oralisada, mesmo que isolada ou solta diante das situacoes interativas%%%%Considering the importance of mothers participation on the constitution of a deaf child, this research aims to analyze the discourse of deaf childrens mothers, in their quotidian communication with their children, observing their narratives from a point of view of the living word as an action of language. Grounded on the bakhtinian perspective theory and on the qualitative study of a socio-historical nature, this study privileges a dialogic reading of an interlocution site. So, the data collected from the discourses of two mothers of deaf children (with cochlear implantation) during a semistructured interview encompasses the study material about the enunciative discursive activity involved in the act of speech. Therefore, the mothers speeches during the interview showed an actively dialogic responsive language, which goes beyond the ready codes and static roles of formal linguistics. It can be perceptible that language must not be only speaker-listener communication in their static roles, but an axiological socio-historical contextualized subject matter. However, differently to mothers speeches during their interviews, the language view that seems to be preponderate in their communication with their children, appears to appoint preferentially to a vision that privileges an oralised word, even it occurs isolated or loosed in the middle of the interacting situations
