Abstract

Abstract This study seeks to reflect on the relationship between the image reading mediation and aesthetic education, whose methodology is the Art-Based Educational Research (PEBA). We collected data in a mediation encounter between 6 and 7-year-old children with artist Marcelo Urizar. We based the study is based on Martins’ discussions on cultural mediation; Duarte and Schiller on aesthetic education; and Heidegger and Larrosa on the concept of experience.
