Liquid preparations are often used in order to meet the challenge of providing appropriate formulations for a wide range of differently aged paediatric groups. Dosing accuracy of pharmaceutical suspensions depends mainly on the homogeneity of the dispersion and the dosing aid supplied. However, previous studies mainly focussed on the effect of redispersibility of pharmaceutical suspensions on content uniformity.
