Abstract

Higgins’ is concise yet covers a wealth of useful information, including a nod to film critics and film magazines to keep up to date – and sample records. The cost of the book is steep for an individual, especially given that it is in soft covers. However, for a library studies collection or a technical services department dealing with cataloguing and collecting film and video, the book is highly recommended.
