He suggests that the process of appropriation should be understood as a process of parabolization and practiced as an embedding of different texts in one's life-narrative. He argues that, in this way, the Christian texts and the socio-cultural context of Christians maintain an intertextual dynamic relationship with each other and influence each other's meaning. Abstract
