Abstract

The analysis of patent data is an important tool for identifying and monitoring trends in blockchain technology. Bibliometrics, citation analyses, supplemented with text mining, support patent data analyses. However, each of these provides specific information, so this study integrates them and provides more valuable information for monitoring blockchain technology as it emerges and identify changing trends in blockchain technology. Its results and methods are applicable to the work of expert research and development in blockchain technology.
