Effect of EndoButton double-bundle reconstruction of medial patellofemoral ligament in the treatment of recurrent patellar dislocation

Tao, Ai-ming Wang, Qian Wang","doi":"10.3760/CMA.J.ISSN.1008-6315.2019.03.008","DOIUrl":null,"url":null,"abstract":"Objective \nTo investigate the recovery of knee joint function in patients with recurrent patellar dislocation treated by reconstruction of medial patellofemoral ligament with EndoButton double bundles. \n \n \nMethods \nA retrospective analysis was performed for 26 patients with recurrent patellar islocation who were treated in The Second Hospital of Tangshan from February 2014 to July 2016, with a total of 26 knees, aged 14-29 years.All patients underwent medial patellofemoral ligament reconstruction with autologous semitendinosus muscle.Double tunnel technique was used in medial patella and single tunnel technique was used in femoral side.Twenty-four patients were followed up for 12 to 24 months.The recovery of knee joint function was evaluated by Kujala score, Lysholm score, patellar fitness angle and patellar tilt angle before and after treatment. \n \n \nResults \nNone of the follow-up patients had dislocation again, and the fear test was negative.The preoperative Kujala score and Lysholm score were (59.67±5.28) and (61.75±5.45) respectively.The corresponding scores at the last follow-up were (87.21±4.21) and (90.13±2.47). There were significant differences between the two scores (t=-19.98, -23.24, all P <0.01). Abstract

Objective To investigate the recovery of knee joint function in patients with recurrent patellar dislocation treated by reconstruction of medial patellofemoral ligament with EndoButton double bundles. EndoButton双束重建髌股内侧韧带治疗复发性髌骨脱位的疗效
目的探讨应用EndoButton双束重建髌股内侧韧带对复发性髌骨脱位患者膝关节功能的恢复作用。方法对2014年2月至2016年7月在唐山市第二医院接受治疗的26例复发性髌骨脱位患者进行回顾性分析,共26膝,年龄14-29岁。所有患者均采用自体半腱肌重建髌股内侧韧带。髌骨内侧采用双隧道技术,股侧采用单隧道技术。24名患者接受了12至24个月的随访。采用Kujala评分、Lysholm评分、髌骨适形角和髌骨倾斜角评价治疗前后膝关节功能的恢复情况。结果随访患者中无一例再次脱位,恐惧测试呈阴性。术前Kujala评分和Lysholm评分分别为(59.67±5.28)和(61.75±5.45)。最后一次随访的相应评分分别为(87.21±4.21)和(90.13±2.47),两组评分差异有统计学意义(t=-19.98,-23.24,均P<0.01),髌骨配合角由术前的(23.17±3.63)度变为术后的(14.17±2.01)度。两组得分有显著性差异。(t=10.62,P<0.01);髌骨倾角由术前(18.33±3.92)度变化为术后(2.45±1.10)度,差异有统计学意义(t=19.10,<0.01)。关键词:复发性髌骨脱位;髌股内侧韧带;重建;膝关节功能
